Me & Mine – March 2017

Me & Mine – March 2017

It’s that time of the month again when I share a family photo of the 5 of us. It’s so nice to have a series of photos throughout the year to look back on and even if the girls (and Matt) do roll their eyes whenever I suggest we stage a shot.  I hope in the future they will be pleased we made it part of our monthly routine when they can look back at how we’ve all changed.

This photo was taken on possibly the sunniest Mother’s Day I can remember. Granted it possibly wasn’t warm enough for the eldest to be wearing a swimming costume but it seems like the sun only has to show itself and the girls want to discard their clothes and ask if they can have a water fight!

We had a lovely weekend and survived looking after 6 kids over Saturday night whilst my brother and sister in law went out with some friends. It helped that we’d been able to spend 3 hours wearing them out on the beach on Saturday afternoon and building sand castles!

So for March we are in the garden, with the sun shining and possibly only one of the kids grimacing! Thanks Isobel!

Post is linked up to the Me and Mine project – hosted by Dear Beautiful, Bump to Baby,Capture By Lucy, Let’s Talk Mommy, Mummy Daddy Me and Tigerlilly Quinn – where you take a photograph a month of your family all together.

Lovely photos of you all. Your children wanting to have a water fight at the first hint of sunshine made me chuckle – my eldest keeps asking me if we can get the paddling pool out every time we have sunshine even though it’s not yet warm enough for it! Well done for surviving looking after 6 children at the weekend – wearing them out on the beach is always a good plan! 🙂 #meandmineproject
