Beautiful Barn in Richmond

Holiday at Home Richmond

This is a slightly different type of post from me. When I write about accommodation on Mini Travellers I write about useful things and what we have done when we have been away, about what there is to do in the vacinity. However this post is not about where the holiday barn was, it isn’t even about how child friendly it is, or even whether it was good value for money. It is simply a post about how beautiful it was!

Holiday at Home Richmond

Holiday at Home is a family run holiday rental company, specialising in top quality holiday accommodation, in and around Richmond, North Yorkshire. They have cosy two bedroom holiday cottages, a wide choice of three bedroom log cabins with hot tubs, and for larger groups four or five bedroom country houses. However what they all have in common is luxury and style.

Sarah from Extraordinary Chaos recently stayed at the Brompton Lakes lodges and wrote this post full of beautiful images Family Time and Tranquility at Brompton Lakes but Sarah, Julia and I stayed at a property called Shorthorn a 4 bedroom luxury house which was quite simply stunning and full to the brim with pictures and objects to photograph!  I don’t really know where to start…

Wow, this is my kind of Holiday Cottage, although I would just stay in it and not go out! I love that cork picture, I am pinching that idea for above my new “Bar Cart”

Ohmygoodness me — how GORGEOUS???!!! SO jealous — can’t believe you all went away without me!!! Although, totally understandable, I wouldn’t have wanted to leave, and then you’d have had to deal with the embarrassment of explaining they had squatters 😉 Love it!! Caro xx #HomeEtc

GORGEOUS! So quirky but welcoming too. I’m always on the lookout for places for a weekend away and Yorkshire is not far from us at all. Adding to the list!
