At the weekend we had the most fantastic Street Party to celebrate the Queens 90th Birthday. Whatever your politics or position on Royalty you simply can’t beat the community coming together to celebrate. I’ll only share the photos of my kids from the day, but as you can see we had fab food, some sun and quite a lot of rain too!
I am sharing these photos with Heledd and My Captured Moment.
Your photos are beautiful I love that you all come together and celebrate there was nothing going on near me so boring!! Xx
Gorgeous photos!! Looks like you all had a great time.
Looks like you a fabulous time – and look at that FOOD! Yum! Wish our community did things like this xXx
Looks like a lovely day, and how cool is your Union Jack cake?! Love it! We went to a party in the park and also got rained on! x
Doesn’t look like the rain spoiled your fun! Your photos are amazing and I love the whole street party thing, great to get everyone together xx
Looks like you had a fab day. XX
How lovely that you all got together for a street party. I think the last street party I went to was when Charles and Diana got married, but I do remember lots of fun was had. Lots of memories for the girls. Our town had a 3 day celebration and bizarrely GMTV were filming live from our park last Friday. Bit crazy to see lots of people you know live on the TV at seven in the morning x
Karen it looks like such an amazing day and your photos are gorgeous x
Some of my FAVE photos yet!! Love the colours and happiness…looked so much fun xx
Ah what an amazing way to celebrate the Queen’s birthday! Wish our street or even village could have got something organised for the big 90th celebrations. These pictures are beautiful, I especially love the ones of Lily in the Union Jack hat. She’s a little beauty!
Next time can I come to your street party? ; )
Thank you so much for linking up to #MyCapturedMoment xx
